While serving your mom (or the mother of your children) breakfast in bed is still a cute idea, not all of us have the cooking skills or time to make that a feasible option. You know what is feasible? Fresh mimosas and Eggs Benedict served up at one of her Chattanooga favorites. Below are a list of local restaurants who are either offering Mother’s Day specials and/or are taking reservations for the holiday (don’t be the son/daughter/husband that makes Mom wait two hours for brunch).
Reminder: This is just a fraction of Chattanooga’s restaurants that offer brunch. For our full list of brunch restaurants and their hours, check out our Brunch Spots page.
Back Inn Cafe: While Back Inn Cafe (located in the Bluff View Art District) is normally closed on Sunday, they are opening for a special Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Great view, exclusive opportunity, and reserved seating—not bad. The Chattanoogan—Broad Street Grille: The Chattanoogan is spicing up their usual Sunday brunch buffet (which always comes with unlimited mimosas, by the way) with some extra treats and chef delicacies for Mother’s Day. Also, they are extending their usual brunch hours this Sunday to 10:30–3. The price is $45.00 for adults and $22.00 for children (5–12). For reservations, call 423-424-3700.
Easy Bistro: If your mother is a seafood fan, Easy Bistro is a great, upscale brunch option. They appear to be spicing up their menu a little for the day and offer reservations. Call 423-266-1121 to secure your table.
Embargo 62: This Cuban restaurant on the NorthShore is having a special “Moms & ‘Mosas” brunch this Saturday and Sunday, 11–4, with $1 Bikini Mimosas and $1 Sangria. And for the record, we are big supporters of their sangria (see article).

The cost is $15.95 for adults and $13.95 for children (4 and up). Mimosas are $2, and Bloody Marys (make your own at their bloody bar) are $4.
Rodizio Grill: If Mom is a meat gal, this Brazilian Steakhouse will satisfy. For Mother’s Day, Rodizio will be serving their dinner menu (expanded meat selection) all day, starting at 11 am.
Wine Down: Located in Cambridge Square in Ooltewah, this restaurant is the perfect brunch spot for the moms out there who take Wine Wednesday seriously. For Mother’s Day, they will be serving $10 carafes of mimosas and are taking reservations. Call at 423-531-9463.
